East Coast Windscreens

Making the next step clear when a windscreen needs attention.

East Coast Windscreens serves drivers in Suffolk and Norfolk. I built its business website around the information a customer needs before getting in touch: the services available, the area covered, evidence of the work and a direct way to request a quote.

A customer with damaged vehicle glass is looking for practical answers. They need to understand whether the business can help, whether it covers their area and how to start a conversation. A polished website is useful only if it makes those answers easy to find.

This project called for a different approach from an application or gaming storefront. The content needed to establish a local service business, explain its offering and support a quote request. The challenge was to make those essentials prominent while giving visitors enough context to feel comfortable contacting the team.

Lead with the service and location

The homepage introduces windscreen services and the Suffolk and Norfolk coverage area early. This helps visitors judge relevance before exploring further. Clear language also gives search engines useful context about what the business offers and who the website is for.

Put evidence within reach

The navigation makes space for services, company information, a gallery and reviews. These are distinct questions in a customer's decision: what can be done, who is doing it and what the work looks like. Keeping those destinations explicit makes the site easier to explore.

Keep contact close to the content

A visible quote action gives the homepage a practical next step. Contact information supports visitors who would prefer to speak to the team, while the quote route provides another way to begin. The content hierarchy connects learning about the service with requesting help.

The website gives East Coast Windscreens a dedicated place to explain its services and receive enquiries. Its structure supports both a quick visit from someone ready to call and a longer visit from someone comparing their options.

This is the core of a useful local business website: specific service information, a recognisable business identity and an accessible route to contact. The same approach can support other trades and service companies without filling the page with generic sales copy or adding unnecessary steps to an enquiry.
